5. Data Storage
YARDtwin primarily uses browser localStorage rather than traditional cookies for session management. LocalStorage data:
- Is not sent to the server with every request (unlike cookies)
- Remains on your device until you manually clear it or log out
- Is not accessible by third-party websites
- Is encrypted in transit when communicating with the YARDtwin API
